Hi, my name is Jeanne Hastings. I have been working as a Recreation Therapist for over 35 years. I have had the pleasure to work with individuals on in patient and outpatient mental health units and programs, the geriatrics population in Long term care as well as assisted living, people living with autism spectrum disorder and with children and adults with learning challenges. I hold a Masters of Science degree in Sports, Recreation and Leisure Studies with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation. I am credentialed as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, CTRS confirmed by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification, NCTRC.
I opened My Recreation Therapist web site to create an opportunity for anyone to experience Therapeutic Recreation provided by Certified and Licensed Recreation Therapist in the privacy of their own homes or while in LTC. This is a FREE service for our consumers.
